Hyman Wolanski

Director

Hyman is a qualified actuary who has been working on all types of pension schemes since 1969.

In 1985 he established his own firm, which advised on SSASs and operated its own SIPP, and he subsequently set up other similar highly-regarded businesses.

He was a member of the Main Committee of the Association of Consulting Actuaries for many years and has spoken on pension matters at many conferences and seminars. He has also written numerous articles on pensions.

Geoff Hartnell

Director

Geoff started his career in financial services as a Life Underwriter in 1982 with Imperial Life of Canada and went on to establish a successful team of advisers before becoming appointed as Managing Director of Alpha Financial Consultants an Independent Financial Adviser firm in 1990.

Initially specialising in advising Corporate clients, Geoff has concentrated on advising business owners and affluent families on inter generational wealth preservation.

Robert Stein

Director

Robert joined the financial services industry in 1980 and has worked in most financial advice areas over his 40 years. Highly qualified in advanced pension planning he has a very broad knowledge of both personal and corporate pensions.

Robert has spent more than 30 years working advising clients on SSAS’s and wishes to provide his clients a professional innovative service where many other SSAS providers have not delivered. Robert has successfully built an unrivalled reputation in the financial services industry through the development of various Vintage companies and going one step beyond most other advisors for all his clients.

John Morton

Director

Over the course of a prestigious career in the financial services industry spanning four decades, John has managed private client and institutional funds across the global equity markets.

John successfully established a Wealth Management business for Brachers, a leading firm of Kent solicitors. Prior to that, he was a Director of Aberdeen Asset Management, with responsibility for managing the group’s investments in continental Europe.

Zoe Wye

SSAS Technical Manager

Zoe started her career 23 years ago with insurance company; National Mutual, where she gained an introduction into the world of SSAS legislation and structure through the firms Pensioneer Trustee operation; NAMULUS.

Zoe joined the Vintage Group in 2002, developing her knowledge and experience in various different areas of financial services, but always with a bias towards pensions. Zoe is Diploma level qualified and holds the G60 certificate in pension transfers.

Over the years, Zoe has gained experience in all areas of SSAS administration, ranging from dealing with annual scheme returns, reconciling SSAS bank accounts, helping with the repayment of loanbacks, overseeing property purchases, liaising with accountants and investment partners and administering SSAS member retirements.
